We are home to two elementary schools Caernarvon Public School and Katherine Therrien Catholic school. We also have a playschool located in Katherine Therrien School for children ages 3 to 4 years of age

We are proud of our newly renovated hall featuring a new stage and full kitchen facilities. We have numerous soccer fields, softball diamonds, hockey rinks, as well as, an outdoor playground located behind the hall.

Caernarvon also offers soccer and baseball programs for children of all ages. We also coordinate through the City of Edmonton various community oriented programs, such as, a babysitting course, bike safety and children’s crafts, etc.

We are walking distance from Beaumaris Lake, YMCA and Castledowns Recreation Centre and shopping centres.

As we believe in continuing to have a safe community we have been fortunate to have the NET (Neighbourhood Empowerment Team) Program, in conjunction with the Edmonton Police Service, be a part of our community. The NET Program is a multi-faceted approach to reducing and preventing crime in the community.
