MEMBERSHIP APPRECIATION/DRIVE

We will be having a Membership Drive/Sports Registration on Saturday, September 18^th at 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Caernarvon Hall.  It is a great opportunity to purchase your membership if you haven't already done so for $20 and also come by with your children and meet your neighbours.  We will have free hot dogs, drinks, snacks and a Family Fun Bingo for the kids at no charge.  For further information contact Jason Millar, President at 780-756-8610or email .

SPORTS REGISTRATION

Location:         Caernarvon Community League

 When registering for the first registration you are only required to do one bingo.

 When registering your child for any sporting activity you will require your child's Birth Certificate, Alberta Health Care number and blank cheques.  You must also be in possession of a valid community league membership for the current year. These will be available for sale at the registration.

 2ND SPORTS REGISTRATION

Date:               Monday, September 20, 2010

Time:               6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Location:         Caernarvon Community League

Please note:  If you are registering your child on the second registration date, you will be required to do two bingos.

VACANT EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE POSITION

We are still looking to fill the following position:

Soccer Director

• attends EMSA meetings twice a year.
• arranges for notification of soccer registration.
• holds soccer registration in conjunction with the General Meeting.
• attends all soccer meetings of the North East Zone (monthly).
• obtains coaches for all teams.
• registers all players and teams with the North East Zone as per their requirements.
• forwards all registration money to the Treasurer.
• contacts Equipment Director for distribution of uniforms and equipment.
• ensures that all coaches hand in their player registration forms to the League by the player registration deadline

RINK HOURS

 The Community skate times at the Castle DownsRecreation Centre have been re-opened.

Users are to have a community league membership, no sticks or shinny allowed and youngsters are to wear a helmet.

Rink Hours:  Wednesdays 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. and Saturdays 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.
